A powerful energy weapon issued to space marines during the Stroggos Campaign. It is believed this weapon represents the final stage of the BFG development and is no longer on experimental stage.

Vadrigar variant[]
The Vadrigar have developed their own version of the BFG, for the Arena Eternal, possibly inspired by the Terran version. The Vadrigar variant of the BFG 10k is a much more stylised weapon than the Terran variety, and one of the most powerful weapons of the Arena. It fires extremely powerful blasts of green plasma, with strength about equivalent to a rocket. The main strength of this weapon is in it's speed. The BFG fires at the rate of a much faster Plasma Rifle, allowing very little probability of missing. Contact with a BFG plasma blast creates a large, green explosion, and coming into contact with even a single shot, is usually, if not always, fatal (though strangely, even though the blasts explode, bodies remain strangely intact if hit straight on and the blast is nullified).
