Gargoyles are an alien race in the Quake Universe. They appear, at one point, to have been mankind's enemies, and are implied to have been an extremely dangerous foe, though, because, in the modern day Terran history, there doesn't apppear to be any record of them, they may have been defeated or extinct. gagoyles are humanoid in shape, with rudimentary wings. They appear to have skeletal faces, and burn with an internal flame.
