Hydrocon

A revolutionary technology developed by the Union Aerospace Corporation's Alpha Labs on Mars, the Hydrocon when connected to the Elemental Phase Deconstructor would transform raw materials native to Mars into usable resources such as water and hydrogen fuel. The primary EPD reactor fed into the Hydrocon processing system for transport to MFS refinement and storage.

Although just a prototype, the Hydrocon on Mars seemed to be functional and had been in operation for some time. Fredric Anubus was concerned about an O2 leak forming in one of the Hydrocon's siphon hoses in the oxygen displacement valve due to the lowered temperatures required to boost production in the Hydrocon Labs. If the hose were to rupture, it would cause severe instability in the Hydrocon systems and could result in a very dangerous situation. It is possible this is exactly what happened during the demonic invasion of Mars, as the Hydrocon blew several fuses and became unstable. George Krietman, one of the few survivors of the initial attacks, was seen attempting to fix it.
